Ground rules as well as instructions on how to use Langley's Pen Pals Around the World forum
Forum Rules
1. Be respectful. This is a learning experience for all of us and there is absolutely no reason to be disrespectful.

2. Don't spam. Apart from the fact that no one appreciates spam messages, this is an academic forum and should be taken seriously.

3. Please don't show your face! For security reasons, please do not reveal your face in any of your letters.

4. Do not share your account information with anybody! To keep this forum secure and only available to Langley High School students and partnering schools, we ask that you do not share your account with anyone.

5. Please follow all of the deadlines set by this program. This will ensure quality exchanges between you and your pen pal.

Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in referral to a Langley High School NEHS officer.
General Instructions
1. Log into Langley High School's Pen Pals Around the World forum.

2. Go to the forum page and click on the country that your pen pal is located.

3. Upload a picture of your handwritten letter to your pen pal. Make sure the picture is taken in good lighting and the contents of your letter are readable. Additionally, make sure to follow the format of the example letter.

4. Check the forum again in a few days to give your pen pal time to upload their letter. Once you see their letter, feel free to leave a comment on it! Please limit the number of comments you leave to 5 because we want the actual conversation to happen through the handwritten letters, not the comments.

5. On the next exchange, continue your conversation with your pen pal through your handwritten letter, and feel free to leave occasional comments.
